In a nutshell: you passionately research how to improve and optimize the user experience of Effectory’s clients and users. We currently have three Product designers and they focus on various parts of our platform that enables employee listening. As our UX Strategist you have the job to oversee the entire platform and research and design a UX strategy aimed towards an engaging and impactful user experience across parts.
What are the solutions that you will be working on?
You focus on the ‘My Effectory’ platform. This contains all our feedback solutions that companies use to send out surveys, gather results and implement change (our customers range from 500 to 500.000 employees). It is our ambition to move towards a self-service platform, but we are not there yet. This transformation is going to be your main challenge.
Our products are used by more than 1 million users per year with different roles, goals, and walks of life. You will be working on creating a 'self-service’ flow throughout the platform, which includes tasks from sharing data, organizational mapping and creating surveys to viewing, learning and acting on insights. It's up to you to research needs, experiences and issues and to design a UX strategy that will inspire and facilitate our three Product designers in their domain and feature designs.
Tasks / responsibilities
This is your team
As our UX Strategist, you'll be part of Effectory's Product & Innovation Team, which is responsible for creating the future of feedback and making the means to listening available and fun for all. The team has a chief product, three Product designers, one Content (UX copy) strategist, three Product Owners, two Product analysts and three Product promotors (who take care of the internal and external knowledge about our solutions). You will also work closely with our Development Team, consisting of 5 Scrum-teams with 20 top-notch Developers.
You have a passion for cool and effective user-friendly products and have experience with setting up a UX strategy for preferably a SaaS product. Since you have been working in a similar role for – at least – the last 5 years, with lots of experience in conducting usability research and SCRUM, you are considered a senior in your field. You show natural authority in running the design process from set-up to delivery and can easily adapt in changing contexts and to different stakeholders, users, and colleagues. You are able to inspire your colleague designers to seeing the bigger picture and facilitate them in solving problems with new design ideas. You get your hands dirty when the situation requires: you know what it takes to make effective prototypes and wireframes (tools like Figma, Sketch, XD, Invision hold no secrets) and work as hard as anyone to improve the customer experience to the max. With your excellent communication skills, you manage to enthuse all involved in getting the best result possible.
We require that you are already settled here in the Netherlands.
